    Thumbs up PSP Help

    Hello.

I need some help, I purchased a PSP from Japan a month ago,

I have been trying to transfer some of my pictures and video clips from my PC to my PSP, however when I transfer the pictures, it seems to save on my memory card, but I am unable to view them. Has anyone had this problem,

Can anyone shed some lite, I also have a few clips that i would like to view on my PSP.

If anyone can help with this I would really appreciate it.

    Cheers

Have you formatted the memory stick from the PSP,

this makes Music and image folders appear

then you copy the audio/image file into the appropriate folder through windows

Video files are much more complicated, search www.purepsp.com forums for a guide

you gotta make some strange folders/subfolders from windows to make the videos be recognised by the PSP, they also gotta be in the correct format, a guide to that is also available at the above adress

Yup as mentioned Video files need to be converted first. This can be done using 3GP Converter.

The settings I mainly use for some of my videos are 29.97fps/384kbps Stereo/96kbps but I sometimes go higher if the video is worth it. Once the video has been converted you will need to rename it to M4V00000.mp4 or M4V00001.mp4, M4V00002.mp4 etc (if you have multiple video files), but you can have 3GP Converter rename it automatically. Once that is done you need to put the file and the accompanying .THM file under:

    (DRIVE LETTER):\MP_ROOT\100MNV01\
Once that is done then you should be on your way.

Like said above you will need to make MUSIC PHOTO file under the PSP folder which will have been made by saving your game.
