    gta3 car models...

    heylo,

after getting damned close to 100% completion on GTA:VC i decided i would go back to gta3 and try to get as much completed as physically possible... but basically i was wondering if anyone has some good websites which have lists and/or reviews of peoples custom gta3 car models (ie higher polygon nicer looking ones ).. i couldnt find much on google, and the only site i know with some on is polycount, but they only have a small handful...

Behemoth, do you problems with slow down with the real car mods?

I tried it a few months back and found the game was nearly unplayable but looked amazing.

Nope, it runs fine, it helps if you do a clean install of a GTA 3 first, then put the mod in. It also says you need to delete some files in the readme file, I suggest you try that, might be why you found it slow.

    http://www.3dactionplanet.com/gta/rlm/vehicles.html

And here's the link to RealGTA3Final
    http://downloads.ign.com/objects/567/567528d.html
    Or here
    http://www.gamestar.cz/gs/gta3/realgta3.zip

The man who compiled RealGTA3Final is making one for Vice city it will be called..
Crazy Real Vice City But it's not finished yet
http://realgta.net (Website doesnt seem to be working at the moment)

Also Behemoth?, I've tried RealGTAFinal and read the readme deleted TXD.IMG and TXD.DIR from the models folder and it still is slow, not as slow as it was but stutters badly , realised i had done it this wy last time but still no joy.

The graphics look so good as well.

edit : got a fix for the crash, its to do with the linerunner replacement thing doing something odd.. 2.5meg download, link - http://realgta.net/realgta/files/miniupdate.zip
