Anyone play their xbox on a WS?

I have brought this question up here before but no one could help me, wonder if it has changed now.

I have linked my xbox up via the advanced scart lead to my widescreen TV (28') all the games I play have jagged lines in. I have tried changing all the options in the dashboard but nothing helps. Does anyone have this same kind of problem?

yeah running both of those, I have also tried a couple of different connections to the TV but it makes no difference

I'm also running a widescreen tellie.
I didn't really pay a great deal of attention to the genric setup, it just worked!

I'm running through the supplied cable into a scart converter and a multi-scart adapter. Nothing advanced whatsoever.

I'd suggest you borrow another cable and give it a go. Sounds to me like you've a corrupted signal of somekind. I very much doubt it is the TV.
Of course you could try the scart lead you have on another piece of kit (VCR/DVD) to see if the problem replicates itself.

It seems you done the above and still have the problem so the next step would be to try a different TV or an alternative XBox, whichever is easier. If an alternative XBox works then check all its settings to ensure yours are the same.

    Good Luck!

By jagged lines, can you give a more accurate description? And how serious?
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

the graphics are fine and I can clearly make out what is happening,

    for example in this screenshot

can you see how the lines are jagged on the metal part of the windscreen just by his arm. Maybe I am just so used to PC games that current consoles graphics are really bad.
