HalfLife 2 - Delayed (again)

In a statement today, the games publisher said that Half Life 2, an expected blockbuster, will now contribute to 2004 results.

I dunno why, but it seems a bit dodgy to me. Looks like they wanted an excuse to delay the release. Maybe they feel threatened by the release of other games. But why would they need an excuse to delay it, surely they can release it when they want?

it really is quite pathetic tbh.. valve said 30th of september, now they are delaying it more than 3 months *sigh*...

ah well, 3 months or more to save up for the latest gfx card money can buy.. or just get a 9800 if they get cheap
