EA withdraw BF2 patch

Aye, but if one goes to the section called "BFHQ" in the main menu, you can view your achievements there.

Because of how painfully difficult it is to connect to a BF2 game I only have a measily 30 global points

Well I've played in numerous 'ranked servers' and I have not a single record of it in BFHQ. All those bloody badges I've been awarded.

i have almost 2k, about 10-15 short, still loads to go to next unlock though.

aslong as, you join a squad, do what you commander tells you, and kill alot global points can come quickly

That's not the problem, I've come first in my team loads of times let alone my squad, helped others out, healing repairing on all that on ranked servers, nothing comes up in BFHQ.

you sure your using ranked servers mate, every kill of mine is added. just takes an hour or so to update at times

I installed the patch when it first came out and it crashed the system on patching. Had to reinstall, and then I repatched.. and now I find they pulled the plug on it?

They should have realised an emergency patch so we didn't have to reinstall

Have reinstalled now, still a good game though. Am getting quiet good at helecopters, must get a bunch of us together, are people playing on the GSV server?

I've been trying the 50clicks server but they're still running the patched version (error) but count me in on the GSV server.

Any idea when th new patch is out? My BF2 is as buggy as hell and keeps crashing. Any news on whether the new patch will have widescreen support?

The in-game chat seems very solid - although I use TS with my house m8, just so i can use sweary words
