    BF2 Clans?

    Hi,
I assume there are loads but does anyone know a relatively easy going clan for oldies like me (33 yrsold) I know its not ancient but frankly I cant stop laughing when some teenager "sqeels" at me to take the point whist trying to reinsert his brace :-/

Are there any sites that show clans and joining ideas or do you know any that would be good?

    cheers
    Rom

    *sniff.. Ooo the memories

There probably loads out there M8. http://bf2tracker.com/portal.php seems a good place anything BF2 related and the forums are quite good.

For me its finding a clan that dont take it too seriously.. cause I certainly dont I wanna shoot stuff, get drunk and laugh lots.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind joining a clan either. Again, it would have to be with a relaxed and mature lot though, who like teamplay but don't take things too seriously.

Sounds like a good clan moto, can anybody translate that in to Latin?

For those hat are not aware TT was a clan started by Romanov, Masterflash and myself later joined as it was aimed and the more mature player (well older at least). Main game was DoD but we also did a bit of Natural Selection, IL2, and just about anything else we fancied. We were pretty crap playing against other clans, but we really enjoyed it as we were drunk most of the time.

The whole relaxed idea works, but we found you end up getting people in who want to progress, they either leave or try and make the clan more competitive. We ended up having multiple matches a week and practises several nights, its ok if you have a large clan, but can be a problem with a small one. Have been playing on a DoD over 18 clan server lately, the clan has its own league as they have over 50 player

i often get told off by members for pimping BF2 stuff here but.......

2 clans with hexus members in:

Desert Wombats - The clan i am in, registered on clanbase with members of all ages, (we have some teenagers right through to a 40 something member). We have a 32 man server and are looking to get a ranked server also.

50 Klicks - Again has members of all ages with 2 servers (1 ranked and 1 unranked). Not sure if they are listed on any ladders.

dw is like 50k basically if you play a fair bit and are most importantly quite friendly etc. you can ask an admin (i.e. me) to become a part of dw, it then goes to a poll with the other admins etc.

A couple of our old TT clan members play in OAP, have often been on their dod server, and as they have a BF2 server it would be rude not to join in.
