I never played it, although I heard it was good. And made by some bloke all by himself or something..

I still play it, but I normally get bored halfway through and then start again a few months later. I hope that there is some more variation and more interesting skills this time. I'd also like other classes besides melee to be easier to play by themselves (although that may just be me being rubbish!)

It's fun, but then it hits you that level 10 is exactly the same as level 1, just with more enemies. Bit like Serious Sam in that respect :/

It was extremely repetitive after a while it has to be said. Was cool at the start then it really did just turn into slighter bigger dungeon, slighter harder enemies, slightly better characters - repeat ad infinitum.

Bit more interesting story and more variation and this could be a winner.

Having completed both the single and multiplayer complete quests i'm suprised by what you are saying. I loved the game, how was the Robo guys with the lightning guns and flame throwers and grenade launchers repetitive? hehe

Then the bosses rocked in the late game, and multiplayer at a lan this rocked, easy to pick up and much fun.

I really liked the original, but my biggest gripe with it was that it required relatively little skill. It felt like no matter what strategy you adopted, you still would never be able to finish a mission until you were a certain level.

Parallels can be drawn with Guild Wars in that respect, but the mutliplayer team dynamic is what keps me coming back for more...something Dungeon Seige had, but only in a very base form.

I think I'll pass on DS2. Didn't like the first one. Reasons already posted by others.

    I'll be checking out

    The Witcher
    Morrowind Oblivion
    Gothic 3
