Not around too often!
Their place is around the corner from me, I was there on friday getting my GP32They cant sell the PSP's from the UK any more, so they ship them directly from where they get them (Japan afaik)
I would recommend them
Craig
I guess that may mean import tax.

That doesn't always work. It even says so on their website. I don't mind paying the tax etc, but it may just be worth waiting instead!

Its worth waiting now. Only one month left.
But its your choice obviously.
If you wait a bit more, you could get a white PSP on import probs.

It would also seem that the import value pack is the same/similar price to the basic one here. Hmm, decisions, decisions!

Go to GAME, put 20 quid down and they will guarantee you one on the day of release. If you change your mind, you get your 20 quid back (unlike a lot of the high street retailers). It’s the value pack, and you get a full 12 month warranty.
And its only in 4 weeks time….
Shame about the price that Sony has decided to change in the UK though![]()
If you can't be bothered to preorder and want one on the day of release, John Lewis specifically state they won't take pre-orders, and expect to get about 100 per store for the first day, so if you're there earlyish you'll get one.
My local HMV has posters "Guaranteeing" they will sell out on the release day, but are still taking preorders...so that impies that they will have more stock than they have pre orders at the moment, so how can they guarantee that they will sell out huh?

Because they have a good chance of only having 1 machine from sony for every pre-order they takeOriginally Posted by Twigman
- This is the same with quite a few retailers.
Just make sure you shop around. There are quite a few shops on the high-street that are claiming they will get you one on the release date, but up-on reading the small print, it becomes they "might get you one"
So £180 is the price set by sony?
Pretty much, yes.Originally Posted by Marcos
Lets just say, Sony has been known to get _really_ arsey with people that dont stick to their RRP's they have set.
BTW, the guarantee thing has finished now. Sony are no longer guarantying stock to retailers. At this moment, any shop who claims to be offering you one on a guaranted basis is lying.
From what ive heard, currently there will be 2 major retailers getting the majority of the PSP stock. The first is pretty easy to guess, the other may supprise a few people however.
Dont ask me for names, i cant give them
