    Game Boy Advance games

Getting my little sister a couple of games for her Bday....she's mentioned Donkey Kong 2, and I was hoping I might get a couple of suggestions for the other one in here...

Any ideas? She's a sims type player, but obviously likes her platformy colourful type thing as well...

And if anyone can suggest a good online retailer to get them from, that'd be smashing...

Spyro & Crash Bandicoot are always a good bet. As for retailers, I get mine off ebay generally, or Game.

Me being the price checking person that I am, I've found that 9 times out of 10 games are cheapest on Amazon (excluding Ebay). I do not use Ebay personally because of the danger of recieving a pirate game.

I'd agree that Spyro & Crash Bandicoot are probably the way to go. If she likes the Sims then you could always get The Sims:Bustin' Out.

Otherwise there is not that much going on in the world of Game Boy Advance. I log into Nintendo's website every day to recieve my 5 stars (they are part of a points system you can use to buy prizes, I got Metroid Prime 2: Echoes recently) and the only good game I can think of that has been released recently would be The Legend of Zelda: The Minnish Cap which I play on a friend's Game Boy recently and found thoroughly entertaining.

I haven't actually got Golden Sun, I'll be borrowing it off a friend soon though

I have played it for about half an hour before and I liked it. A similar style game which is surprisingly good is Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for Gameboy Colour (Not Advance mind). I played it because my sister has it and she said it reminded her of Final Fantasy IX so I needed to have a go. Despite being related to the Harry Potter films *shudders* it's got great gameplay.

I hear you. I finally wised up after receiving my second one. I had no idea people pirated small carts like that.

Yoshi's Island was good fun. I can recommend Mario vs. Donkey Kong as well.

Depends on how old she is

If people are suggesting RPG type games, I might as well tell you that Fire Emblem is the best Turn based strat/RPG esque game on the GBA (In my opinion of course).

Yoshi's Island (Super Mario Advanced 4 I think) is a great game, it gave me hours of fun on the SNES.

I'll give another vote for Yoshi's Island. It kept me very busy during my layovers last spring.
