    i can't get BT2 demo to work!

    my system:

    AMD AXP 2500
    ABIT NF7
    KINGSTONE 512MB PC3200
    RADEON 9200 128MB
    WD 80GB 7200RPM JB

    XP PRO

i downloaded battle field 2 demo and installed it. after it i entered the game, and the EA games logo apeared, an upgarde ad apeared as well ETC.
but after them i just get a black screen. i can hear the game music and sound btw, but nothing then a black screen. i can only see the white mouse signle on the screen and i can move it. i had onega drivers, so i uninstalled them and installed catal' 5.7 latest drivers. but problem remains the same. so i clicked few times on the black screen with left mouse button and it got stuck , got to desktop and message apeared: VPU recover error ETC.

    how to fix this problem?

i found it, disabled it and then entered the game. the black screen still apeared, only this time after 5 min the game got stuck, it's music got stuck 2, windows got stuck and had to reset!
so i guess disabling VPU didn't really helped!
    what else can i do?

Assuming you running your AGP at 8x try lowering it to 4x and try again, worked on an older motherboard I had before.

Yep, for a Radeon 9200 you need to lower your AGP speed to 4x

Worked for me, no idea why though
