jap are region 2, i just ordered mine, i swear jap is 2? 'man ill be so mad, ill have to buy a mem stick!

No what I meant was mine is an Asian region psp (R3), not a Jap region PSP (R2). They are different markets Asian & Japan.
I know someone going to America. Could i get him to get me a PSP and still play uk games umd movies on it etc?
I assume i would just need a step down for charging it?
I have both a Japanese and UK one, and they both are region 2, and both play the films and do everything
