    Fifa 2006

    Lo all,

The FIFA 2006 demo has been released and I'm wondering if anyone has played it yet. It seems very arcadey with a lot of ridiculous skills.

The graphics look good and gameplay is pretty decent as well. They have copied the more superior PES4 by using similar buttons. e.g. replacing run from tapping triangle, to holding R1.

Anyone got any tips or found any good skills? I found it hard to score at first, but I've got lucky and scored 3 cheeky goals so far.

I thi nk it will be too similar to '05, theres no point of bringing one out until they get a new gimmick!

Its quite funny to see that Fifa is starting to emitate the PES series, as obviously they are losing market ground on them!

PES04 (and the new 05, which is looking to be very nice) is diffo the better buy, if you want a new footie game! IMO.

FIFA 2005, with a 6 in the place of a 5, and another few million for EA, nice.

I think Fifa should do what unreal does. They don't create a new game every year with slight changes, they wait a few years and release somrthing a lot better. They don't even give themselves time to make it much better.
