Unless this is one big cover up by Nintendo, and they have some kind of amazing VR console or something, this is the death of their play in the big boys league of the consoles. They might just stick to support of the handheld devices, but hell even their turf in that aspect is getting invaded, lol

Xbox360 FTW! And probably PS3 once that eventually comes out
    ps2 reported polygon-pushing power: 15m
    gc reported polygon-pushing power: 6m
    xbox reported polygon-pushing power: 150m

    real ps2 polygon-pushing power after 1 week: 2m
real gc polygon-pushing power after 1 week: 12m
real xbox polygon-pushing power after 1 week: 15m

hint: what the companies say, and what they achieve, are unrelated.

Tho the GCs output was a lot better they couldn't produce games that really pulled in the general public.

LOL damn right, when it comes down to it, most people won't know all the things, and will believe whats marketed to them. The more enthusiastic people are a small minority that make up the market who will make wise decisions, but its mostly as skuzgib said above.
