    What type of server exactly? You will need a modchip on it and then you just run it through your home lan. If you get an executer2 pro modcip then you can even boot it with linux on it, you will need to load a few bioses on the chip and you can then boot to the linux distro you install. You will also need a harddrive upgrade unless you think 10gb is big enough for a server. www.worldxbox.co.uk

    should be able to help you a lot better with questions like this specifically the modchips section. I have a modded xbox with 70 games on the harddrive and the only problem I have is that I could not do xbox live as the chip has been detected on mine.
