whats your biggest problem with bf2?

my biggest problem with bf2 is not the code or game play issues it has, but the lack of teamplay/respect for otherplayers.

whats your biggest beef with it I wonder?

My beef is the lack of people using VOIP.

I use it a lot and relay to the commander as much as possible but a lot of commanders do not have VOIP on so it makes it hard.

1. Bunny hopping, the odd jump is ok but some people really take the piss.
2. Idiots punishing when they strole in to a mine thats in a sensible place.

Agree 100% Alot of the clan servers kick you now if you bunny hop alot

Punishing, people who run in front of vehicles so they can get TK'd then punish, merely because their too immature and selfish to accept that you don't always get to fly the jet or helo.

There are some people that just go round TKing.

I was told by my commander to go round killing him.

People piloting transport helis that cant do it right and crashing, killing all the passengers, or people that run off in them on their own, leaving 5 or 6 people on the carrier, or people that bail out over a flag while piloting without warning, although you can usually cathc that and take over.

How insanely difficult it is to kill the tanks. 2 tow missles into a tanks tracks should take it out, i dont care what kind it is. Same goes doubly for helis, tow missle to the rear rotor should be instant crashing.

people who just cap flags then run off, even when the area is still hostile.

People that play special ops and just run around like assault troops doing suicide runs with c4.

people that punish tks when they run infront of your jeep/tank/heli whatever.

the server browser, think thats about it, but i could prob think of a few more.

I've encountered most of your gripes and would agree that they are very annoying.

do you think that 1.3 can or will address these issues?
i tend to use voip alot but theres just some times when I cann't be bothered to talk to team mates.

Annnnd another thing, wish they wuld tweak the sniper rifles a bit. Accuracy and power seem a little low.

(Love this game, it's preventing me from getting into other stuff atm because most of my 'game time' is spent on it- these are just a few things that bug me)

Engineer class is too unrewarding in terms of points.

Claymores NEED an individual warning symbol so team mates take extra special care.

The amount of time needed for each rank, without any small rewards on the way there (It's predicted by one stats site that it will take me 1 year to reach 5th rank assuming I continue to play as much as I do)

Fu-She Pass and Kubra Dam on 32+players are only fun-ONLY if you're in a tank or aircraft. for infantry they're tedious because of the big distances you have to travel for action, without any guarrantee you won't die the moment you're spotted..

Blackhawks don't bother me, I've long mastered the art of popping the pilot with my M95 while they hover over a flag. If it doesn't kill the crew, it leaves them useless for about 15 seconds because they're all too surprised to react- enough time to place the chopper in a comprimising position (i.e. upside down or whatever). I do admit that they're a bit over-the-top, but the upcoming patch has them figured out.

I really detest the menu system in the game, and even more so its terrible controls. You have to change/remove mapped keys from one command just so you can set it to another? Why can't you have 2 on at the same time and just remap the other command before saving, as was the case with BF1942/Vietnam

That you need to be in a clan to guarantee yourself some fun gameplay with people who want camp planes and what not. That you can end up with TK'ers in your squad. It takes a while to load so if you get stuck with a crap server for whatever reason you can't just quickly get into another one.

I just have one major gripe, which is the punishing idiots who have no respect if they walk straight into it. So say you artillery strike an area with around 10+ enemies, and you tell in CAPS for your team to wait for the strike to hit to move in. You get millions of kills, which is good, but theres one person who drives straight into it, punishes, and calls you a fag. Simply, its not on. But nothing that EA can do about that really.
