Connecting Xbox 360 to a TFT monitor

This may sound stupid but, will I be able to connect the 360 to a TFT monitor for the visuals, and also connect the 360 to a home cinema system for the audio?

I don't want to buy a new TV just for a games console lol.

seing as the xbox 360 isn't out yet, it's somewhat premature to make assumptions over what connectors will come supplied

it's also presumptive to assume what connectors your TFT has - my TFT has connectord from DVI to Composite, i could plug a NES straight in if i wanted to

Why would you have to buy a new TV? Think MS would be shooting themselves in the foot if that was a requirement.

found this http://shop.game.net/ViewProduct.asp...273&mid=327032 which is a vga cable for the xbox 360. So yes, you can connect the xbox360 to any vga monitor. The question is though, can your TFT display the chosen res outputted by the 360? (most likely 720p which is 1280x720) Most home cinema widescreen tfts can (look for a HD compatible sign).

I don't want to get the 360 and play in standard vision , I want High Definition goodness ! I'm planning on getting the 24" Dell TFT monitor, and I know where to get a HDMI > DVI cable. Just don't know if I'll be able to get the sounds through another audio source like a HI-FI or something.
