    Yes another HL2 thread

While everyone is discussing the details of the source code theft from Valve another little drama is playing itself out in the background, one which has to do with the new release date for Half-Life 2. While Vivendi Universal, through their CEO, Christophe Ramboz, claimed last week that the game had now moved back to an April 2004 release, EBGames lists the game as becoming available on November 27. Exactly how EBGames would have such a precise date remains a mystery, fueled by Valve's resistance to publicizing a revised release date.
got that from megagames, now why in the hell would u even bother wasting ur time thinking about why EB have that as their release date, the webmaster has probably forgot to change it or hes off sick or something

Well most game retailers make up these dates frankly. You can see why, its much more likely that i would preorder a game a week beofre release than 4 months

It's a shame about the put back of Half Life 2 .. i've been happilly waiting for it to be released on September 30th.. and then Valve break their promise of a definate release date.. ah well.. i guess it'll be worth the wait.. i hope..
