    Real life versus games?

We don our combats, grease our barrels and lock and load for a weekend of wargaming, Airsoft stylee...

Yep, we spent the weekend getting blasted with plastic ball-bearings and loving every minute of it... Check out our brief overview on Hexus.gaming.

next time nick tells he's been mega busy we shall have to remind him of this

But it looks so much fun, really like the idea of this, vs paintball. I've got no padding (thin as a rake) and paintball hurts sooo flipping much. Plus i like the idea of the ball bearings hehe.

Believe it or not, it can work out far cheaper than paintball!

I'm not 100% certain of 'walk on' prices as this was a pre-book event.

Players paid £65 for the whole weekend, then fought from 10am Saturday morning through to 1am Sunday morning, then kicked off again at 8am finishing about 3pm.

Gun and combats hire is £15 each, with a bag of 3000 pellets costing just £7, and believe me, you'd have to go some to get through 3000...

So for just over £100 you've got yourself two days of fun... and the best bit is, it's not CTF over different areas or anything like that and there's simply loads of people all playing tactically with none of that gung-ho rubbish... very, very cool.

basic site fees up here ur talking £20 walk on for a days play. check outairsoft scotland theres a small link to the fort on that main page that is the actul site's page.

the real thing that makes airsoft so much cheaper than paintball tho is the ammo. ur talking £10 or less for a bag of 3000+ easily (last bag of .2g bb's i got were £10 for 5000 altho it was awhile ago as i use .25g's) its just the airsoft guns themselfs that are more expensive (ur talking £200 range), from what iv bn lead to believe anyway. As to game types depending on the site if u can think of it and ppl want to do it... then u do it

glad u had a great time tho and theres some good shots there
