What does this game play better on - Xbox 360 or top end gaming PC?
Thanks, just bought - (along with various other stuff... stupid bargains doing exactly what the store intended them to do, get me to buy other stuff that isnt reduced!!!)
I love Steam because im terrible at keeping discs in good condition and losing manuals (with serial numbers)
I bought this on Thursday night and downloaded it overnight. I then spent over two hours trying to get it to start a game. I got the main menu, clicked the difficulty after "New Game" and it just crashed to the desktop. All the solutions I could find just said to update/reinstall graphics/audio drivers, update directx, or verify the files in Steam. I didn't see anyone saying those actually worked. I eventually found a comment saying Saints Row 2 doesn't like extra gaming controllers and I remembered I've got a Logitech joystick plugged in. I unplugged it and it worked.
The gameplay is just like GTA but I don't think it's as good. It's like a clever joke that makes you laugh compared to crude toilet humour. It kind of feels like it's trying to hard. It's still fun, though.
On my system (I think the details on the left are up to date) I get about 30fps at 1440x900 on High. It does dip and become jerky sometimes but it's playable as it is.
Don't like this game at all, not really worth £3.75 to me. Oh well.
Damn, I totally missed this. The game looks fun too
