I utterly detested the first one... really, really hatedit, more than I disliked Doom 3 or Halo... I'd rather be kept in a cess pit and pulled out to play Russian Roulette than play VietCong again...

As far as I can tell the guns shoot like oter crap! dont expect to enjoy the game play! At thoes settings I got an average of 30 FPS. to compare, at thoes same settings I get around 5 FPS in BF2. I find the textures to be posh and with out that 16AF you dont wana see them! There all blured up... this game engine is very disapointing!

I was waaaay too trigger happy to enjoy the first one. I know its realism, but, I shoot anything that moves, and everythings green, v. v. green... so I was shooting scenery and crap most of the time, I sucked at dealing with ambushes

I enjoyed the first Vietcong..but Vietcong 2 looks poor from those screenshots - graphics wise i mean..the textures look as detailed as half-life (1)'s - thats QUAKE ENGINE based (not Quake 2 or 3, although some elemnts from quake2 are in HL1)

The rope is the one that gives it away a bit :S

anyhow i might download the demo and see what the gameplay is like Graphics are one thing but good graphics doesnt always mean good gameplay
