anyone seen the state of some of the new ut2k3, looks like there is some pretty good online action going in the form of completely new games...

at moddb some of the most excellent are

frag ops
red orchestra (same setting as enemy at the gates film- ww2 ussr)
conquest marines
junglewarfare

all with scores above 9!!!

also there is

king of the hill
and more with scores above 8...

does anyone know a place that can burn some of these for a good deal, does anyone here want some online credit for 1/2 cd's with all the mods they have for 2k3?

good place for mod screenshots is www.moddb.com , the mod database. i dont know if these are as good as some hl/quake or if these are just dodgy old mods with good engines.

i'd love to try red orchestra, cd coming in the post soon. maybe i can organise a distro of unreal mods with some maties here.

on moddb, try some searches for released unreal mods, the search works eventually, there's user ratings for all of these.

lol yea, I downloaded it on wednesday when I ordered UT and by saturday when I got UT it had been updated so I had to download it again :/

it's set in ww2 russia apparently, the same as enemy at the gates, charting the life of vasily zaitsef in ww2 stalingrad when berlin sent the head of the sniper skool to get him.

it's quite a good film, would rather like to see the mod.

i'll send someone 8-9 gb of mame games and if you want some gb of old emu roms for a few gb an up to date unreal maps folder and some mods. anyone got alot of unreal maps like db-cube (26mb) and loads of similair?

i can send you double/ treble blank dvd/ cd's or something.

it's a bit strange that it's called 2004, it's just some kind of expansion pack, possibly a more extensive 3d engine. from what i've heard it's kind of a vihicles mod.
