Sony PS2 VGA Adaptor Where to Buy?

I once saw on the PS2 linux site a vga cable for the ps2 along with the linux kit including keyboard etc... where can i get one as i have a BLAZE one that is a piece of crap you have to enter codes for res's of individual games etc...-screw that. i want one that i just plug into ps2 and my monitor... can i still buy it and is it sold singularly or is there an alternative?

If you want a decent picture quality you have to buy a upscan convertor which cost about £100, the ones for £30 look crap.

personally i think this is ridiculous... as xbox simply has a cable and so does the ps2 linux bundle.surely they must sell that still or even just the monitor cable! GRRR!!!

Problem is software not hardware as most games dont support hi-res modes. Hopefully with Xbox360 and PS3 this wont be the case.

I tried one of those VGA boxes like the logic3 one and the quality was awful.

That does look more like a proper upscan device, just make sure, whatever you get, you buy it from somewhere who will let you send it back if the quality is dissapointing.

As TheBuzard said they are really all the same, generaly not great quailty since it 'streches' the game to the higher resoultion. The next gens wont have this problem since they support HD res/
