    Gun.

I started playing this the other day, but I held off posting about it just in case it was too good to be true. Was I wrong.

I've played it through twice now (inc. all side missions) and it is still as exciting and fast paced as ever (3rd time now). It feels very arcady, but this is pulled off fantastically as you rack up kills in quick-fire mode with a wonderful ker-ching noise. The experience ranges from fast frantic gunfights, throwing your horse viciously at the enemy, to trotting along herding some cattle looking at a nice sunset. Very therapeutic

Get this game. Get it. Get it for christmas. If Santa hates you, get it anyway.

It's a lot of things. Primarily it's a 3rd person shooter with horses (yes ) but it has a first-person mode (kinda like bullet time, but Clint Eastwood stylee) for dispatches large numbers of bad guys.

This review has it pretty much spot on, worth the investment if it sounds interesting to you

Sorry, didn't see that, I thought it had only just come out. The game is worth 2 posts though

I'd never seen a western until I saw Unforgiven the other night. Now I've got the Eastwood trilogy on order

Yeah its 3rd person as you run around but you can aim down the sights of any weapon on it in 1st person. You also have the brilliant quickdraw where everything goes in slo mo so you can get headshots and shoot arrows out the air.

Its a really addictive game, story is quite simple. Tale of vengeance basically but you really get the feel of the old west. Worth getting, its going to be one of those games that passes alot of people by for various reasons.

Yeah i got it this weekend, completed it already. Very short But it was a very fun game, and it's always fun to start a showndown in the town.

One thing, is that is seems to run terrible on my PC. Everything on low, and it still stutters when changing area. It's a real shame because i can run the Lost Coast demo fine, yet gun becomes unplayable in any large fight.

What we all want to know is...

What happens if you get off your horse and shoot it in the head?

Use Fraps. Make a video. I will buy it if you do
