I really liked the first one, it was a brainless shooter but with excellent damage effects, I hope more of the scenery is damagable in version 2.

I think it was the "proper" implementation of bullet time and the cartoon cut scenes that REALLY made it. The game was just there for doing.

It's a little short. I watched all the comic strip action in between the levels and managed to finish it comfortably within 8 hours.

It's pretty engrossing and funny in parts.

I must admit that MAx Payne was awesome. The sequel was even better. What surprises me the most is the lack of a significant marketing campaign for that game. With all the D3 and HL2 hype it really felt nice to get a game that has to offer something more than breakthrough graphics and system requirements.
Surprisingly enough that game played superbly on my rig - 1152@32bit and all details maxed out, 2x AA

max payne, 1 and 2, rule.
im finding this one more difficult tough.. the 3rd erson view makes me feel like im playing on a console... aiming is HARD!

the gfx are amazing, and i get v high fps with all on max with 6x aa and 16x af, on my 9700np, with the core at 200 and mem at 270, so its underclocked a fair bit! (BTW, the res was 1600x1200-32bit@85hz aswell.... )
the puddles outside when u goto help vlad are the best ive ever seen, shame they didnt make the rain look nicer though

i think the character was done better in max payne 1, and in this its a bit confusing at the start at the hosipital etc..
(im at the bit helping vlad atm, i keep dying )
