    Thumbs up Judge Dredd

Got released yesterday and I bought it this morning. Been playing it for around the past hour and I have to say, its excellent. The demo they released was level 3 and I think it is a medicore level for demo, done it no real justice (No pun intended !)

Must say that level 2 where you go to a penitentiary where the Dark Judges are was superb. Fight you're way through vampires and arresting anyone else if possible. End of the level the Dark Judges escape and its pretty sinister the voice acting on them, and they look really cool in their ghostly apparition form. Kinda fits what you would imagine if you have ever read any of the Dredd - Death stories.

Thankfully this game is very true to Mega City One and Judge Dredd in general. Detail like the Fatties with the little wheels propping up the HUGE stomachs and the different types of gangs really gives the feel of the city perfect. Hopefully there will be a Block War a bit later. I know that is one of the multiplayer scenarios and should make for some really good carnage.

I would say that this game is a must buy for fans of Judge Dredd and also fans of FPS in general. Has a good mix and balance of everything.

Na, the level they used for the demo is only so so. I've been getting right into it. The story on it is pretty decent with the Dark Judges. Me personally always have been a fan on Dredd anyhow. Think its really good, takes you into it gradually. Just coming up againt the first Dark Judge : Mortis. Should be interesting to say the least !

Anyone thinking of buying this it may be worth going to a shop and trying it on the X Box before buying to see if they like it or not. Yeah the X Box doesn't look anywhere near as good but it will give you a good idea what to expect. I havn't regretted buying it at all, I get killed and its 1 more go to try again ! Pretty addictive.

Liking the comics and Dredd does go towards it for me also though.
