Path Of Neo - Any Good?

AFAIK, it's now been released, so is it any good? Has anyone got it already?

From what I've heard, it seems like a good idea, i'm just unsure if it's worth buying or not. What are your thoughts?

It has VERY mix views on gamespot.

Bump - someone must have played this, or at least heard something of it. Maybe HEXUS could do a review?

    I've not seen a demo...

I think that so long as it's not total rubbish, I'll play it was I want to know what else they've put into the story .

KP on Attack of the Show said he liked the game. From what I saw, it looks looks like a button mashing orgy--not my kind of orgy

i'll never understand reviewers who say something is below average, yet give a score above 5/10 - surely 5/10 is average, so below is less than that?

The graphics are terrible, I didnt bother getting past the first part where you have to crawl round as it was just like a REALLY bad version of MGS.

Amen to that, every magazine etc does it. 7.5 = good game in my book. Not to them it seems.

Hmm... I've got quite into it myself... I'm enjoying unlocking new abilities.

The part where you play against the massive army of Agent Smith's is an absolute blinder

Graphically it's something of a mixed bag - generally it has the look of a console port, ie. awful textures et al., but thrn some of the cut scenes look really good. Odly enough, ramping the detail settings up to 10 brings PS 3.0 effects into play. There's shedloads of FMV and audio from all 3 films here too.

It's definitely combat-oriented, with the emphasis on high kickin', bullet dodgin' and umm..karate choppin'. The numberof button combos on offer is as impressive as it is finger punishing, with more moves and combos being unlocked as you progress.

I'm quite enjoying it, you know. It has all the look, sounds and feel of the matrix films, and if you're a fan you'll lap it up. Sure, it won't set the world alight, but hey, 'I can do kung fu' as was once said.

i think I'll stay well away. couldn't be bothered finishing the first one, as it just got irritating. rubbish textures AND controls mean that I'm just not even going to bother checking for a demo.
