    PSP Help?

A colleague at work has got a PSP and has recently had the speakers just cut out. (i.e stop outputting sound).

Its still fine when outputting to headphones etc, but internal speakers appear intermittent, has periods where they start workign again.

Anyone think of anything other than a lose connection to the speakers?, any ideas about fixing this ?.

    Anyone had any similar experiences?

Hmmm, very strange =\ ive not had the problem with mine or not heard anything like this from the many people i know with one.

It sounds like a wire has disconnected or sumin from the speaker unit, I aint technically minded really but that what i would have said it is..

I also wouldnt play around with the insides scary stuff that is hehe

    warrantys ftw!

yup sounds like a loose wire Could be something more complex but loose wire is my bet. get it replaced under warenty, or if that's not an option (import etc) then you could open it up and re-solder the wire, not that difficult if thats all it is - just like soldering a mod chip to a PSX (hehe that was fun) or adding an afterburner to a GBA. If your careful and half good at soldering it is probably fixable
