Well there's a surprise, it's not like HL2 was late, or Lost Coast took ages now is it.

sad news but to be honest i have more than enough fps to get me through to next year
i think its great that all the new fps are excellent games
serious sam2 is loads of fun, fear is nasty and shiny, COD2 is epic, and Quake 4 is everything i wanted it to be, we are all real luckly gamers at the moment, long may it continue

Valve should really predict dates a few months after they usually predict. That way they will be on time. And if they are genuinely on time to the original date, well, no one minds an early release date do they

It's alright. This delay is not a big deal for me. The most important thing is that instead of rushing it out Valve delivers a solid quality add-on for us to marvel at, once again. Take your time, Valve

Indeed, id rather it was 6 months late, and was quality. it had better be a decent length, **** Valave if it's 10 hours of game.

PLenty of games to keep us occupied at the moment so no rush for this

Would rather they took even longer and re-engineered Steam so that id didnt exist...but maybe thats too optimistic

(Puts cynical hat on...) Maybe valve just want to delay it until they know nothing else is coming out and then we'll ALL buy it, because otherwise we'll have nothing to play!!!

Anyway, I have dowloaded HL:LC, but still havent had the time to play it - just finished Quake, Gun up next, Serious Sam II is getting me interested... PES5 always awsome - my GF is not happy...

Delaying it right now would be a clever idea, after the Xbox360 initial rush finishes, then it can have some spotlight

It's a shame, but not suprising given how late Lost Coast was.

They probably haven't started it yet
