    GTR/GT Legends

I've had GTR for ages now, and went and got GT Legends after a mate bought it in error instead of GTR ....

However, we're both looking for a UK based league to join, I'm looking at the UKGTR league, and they're going to be starting a GT Legends based league shortly.

Just wondering if any of you are in a league etc. just so I can see what options are open to me.

I will give masterflash a kck and point him at this, think his league has now moved over to GTL. Have just started playing myself, but is my first proper sim racer so need to put some L plates on my car. Am really enjoying it though, especially withthe force feedback wheel.

I'm still a bit of a "learner" too. I never really got into GTR as much as I should, but I've been playing GTL quite a lot - it helps that one of my friends has it, as it adds that bit more to multiplayer races.

I'm on a FFB wheel now too, just had a normal one until I borrowed a Microsoft Sidewinder, and then the decision was made, it adds a lot to the racing experience as well as making things a bit easier to control, which is a good thing, as lots of the cars in GTL are quite happy to get the back end out!

    Hello

Im with the ADC which is a GPL / GTR club. There is plans to move into GTL very soon, but nothing sorted yet.

I always point people to *Race Sim Central*

Great place to get help/find setups/skins etc

If you guys fancy setting up a race one night, i'd be well up for it

    (Flibb that includes you!!)

That'd be ideal, I'd get my mate Rich onboard aswell (he's definately still on L plates),

I've had a breif look on RSC for league info, but from what I can see there really hasn't been that much implemented as yet for GTL, which is a shame (but no doubt it'll arrive soon-ish)

Talking about skins, are these useable for online gaming, or does it mean that all people on a server will need your skin aswell? Just curious, cause if I was going to get into a league, I'd want my own paint job and driver specific decals

Oops, just looked at your sig - I really should get back into BF2 ..... not played it since I've applied the patch ....

All clients and the server need your Skin installed im afraid. Otherwise theres mismatches that causes all sorts of grief.
In some leagues they have 'skin packs' so all drivers have their custom skins.

Go for UKGTR (or, simracing.org.uk - same lot)

I'm with them and everyone's fine and friendly!

I'd actually registered with them, but as yet the GTL league isn't off the ground. I'd like to do some racing on GTR, but I've not spent a great deal of time on that recently (and only the endurance league has any space...)

Hopefully I'll get things sorted at home at get into it - juggling work/gym/pregnant wife and studying for an MCSE doesn't leave me a great deal of time unfortunately! However, if I can get set in the league, I'll definately be setting aside an evening for that! (It's Tuesday at the moment isn't it?)

Still, need to get some practice in again on GTR before I commit to that, hopefully the GTL league will be up and running after the patch so then we can have up to 32 cars rather than 16 - but not on Mondello!!! 32 cars on that circuit, it wouldn't be a race so much as one long traffic jam!
