    Banned 360 advert

Anyone see the banned 360 advert that is circulating the net?

    I think it's fantastic!

They can show two girls kissing on Eastenders at 7.45pm but they can't show some people pretending to shoot each other with imaginary guns! Ridiculous!

Censorship shoud be down to the individual not to some 'fat cat' who makes our decisions for us.

Anyhow, here is the commercial: http://www.spikedhumor.com/articles/...Stand_off.html

P.S I've got nothing against two girls kissing, in fact I would encourage it. However if those two girls are Sonia and Naomi, it certainly puts me of my dinner.

You mean to say that you didn't play pretend shoot outs when you where a kid anywhere you felt like?, including a train station?. There is also this distinction between "real life" and an advert that people really should be able to make the distinction between

Play shoot outs is exactly that, its got no bullets, no guts, no gore, its harmless fun!.

Playing devil's advocate.. I can see how some people might say it's in poor taste... especially if they put their Daily Mails down long enough to look at the telly.

Edit: gotta love the waiter trying to cover two guys at once....

As far as i'm aware this is not a banned advert. It was done for the Zero Hour event and for internet release. They decided that the content may prove to be a problem so they decided not to use it as part of their cinema/TV advertising.

There was a news report only yesterday suggesting that Toy Guns should be banned.

I used to have a toy gun and never once have I thought about buying a real one.

What happened to freedom! People should have a right to choose whether they want to watch an advert or not, whether they want to watch hardcore porn all day or walk naked in the streets (i do none of the last two)

There should just be a warning, or it should be shown after the watershed.

They aren't saying that kids will pull out real guns. They are saying that there are too many call outs of the Armed police for cases of kids brandishing toy/replica guns. And they would rather be working on actual crimes.

Spaced were allowed to do this, probably because it wasn't in a train station. But to be fair were could they of picked?

A school... erm no, USA would get upset.
    A plain... no.
    Station (BUS/TRAIN) no.

the only place i think they could of used would be a laser quest place, but then if they'd done that, some nut would blatently take a real gun in, (my guess is a german kid) and then MS's add firm would of been sued.

    just my rant.
