So who is heading off at midnight for their Xbox 360?

AS per the title really... who's heading out tonight to pick up their Xbox 360?

Are you going to a midnight opening, or are you hitting a 24 hour supermarket in the hope of picking up an Xbox 360 off the shelves?

If I could, I would. But my Game isnt doing a midnight opening. Will be down there at 7 in the morning instead... not too bad, cos i'll then be rested and ready for kicking some ass on Live!

I would go for the midnight launch, but there's only 100 consoles getting released in Aberdeen, and 25 (IIRC) go to Game which are already reserved, 10 to ASDA, 10 to Woolies, some to Virgin etc. My best bet I thought was Woolies but it's probably a bit late to go queue now. Ohwell.

I'm in the same boat. GAME decided not to open at midnight in MK shopping centre, so i get a good nights sleep then head to CMK about 9am. Was thinking about going to Asda and having a laugh at all those who are queing up for a 360.

we got 70in and they're all reserved instantly. theres going to be alot of disapointed ppl who stupidly think there going to get one tonight and tomorow

I was considering heading down to Asda to see if any were availible but I highly doubt I'll bother now. No doubt there'll be queues and hassle, and TBH I don't think it is worth the price. I'd probably end up thinking about it whilst its sealed and then eBaying it (if I even managed to get one)

Just phoned my local Asda.. people were queueing at 4am this morning.. they ended up giving out tickets for the amount they had to stop the queue getting to big!!

My local tesco extra got 4 in total and they had queues around the corner so just gave empty boxes to 4 people in the queue and told them to come back tomorrow, rather than having a stampede at midnight!

Well wont a core do? If your so desperate for a 360 buy a core and fork out extra for the hdd etc, otherwise ur going to be waiting 6 weeks to get one!

I have a premium one on pre-order but was hoping to pick one up as I am not getting my pre -ordered one tomorrow very annoyed about this
