oh ****!!
Whats wrong with it?
won't turn on? or summat else?
You do know about the PSU problem with america, that can be fixed just by giving it more breathing room? Or was yours DOA (Dead on Arrival)?
sue microsoft for trauma, hurt feelings and lost game playing hours that you will never be able to redeem
wasn't there a post like this just the other day? it seems this all singing all dancing xbox 360 is, well jsut like all the other microsoft applications we're subjected to, full of bugs from people trying to be too clever. in principle its all ok but in practice it all falls apart...
Not to rub salt in beanbandit's sad predicament but I've deliberatley been running the HEXUS.gaming Xbox 360 with the PSU just sitting on the floor... it's not failed at all so far... even passing the 'leave it on all night and all the next day' test with no ill effects.
Nope, i've been playing Kameo then i started to get picture breakup(tearing) so i powered down to let it cool down. Went back to it after 30 min and all i get is one red light, bottom right on ring of light, and message on screenQuote:

And the error code E74. So i'm just waiting for MS to phone me back and arranged a replacement. The PSU had loads of breathing room, i even raised it using small blocks of wood. In my view the PSU is a very poor design with very few vent holes, there needs to be more holes running the complete length of the PSU rather than at the ends only.
That salt stings a bit :P I've found that the PSU doesn't (or didn't get the chance to) get very hot. The console though gets very toasty indeed.Quote:

My Core has been fine so far, but I dont have a hard drive or memory unit as of yet :(
As I cant save my games, I havent been playing it continously since i hate not being able to save my achievements
Thats the error people had with overheated PSUs. Well if I can remember rightQuote:

From what i've been reading on the official forums MS are holding onto units for replacement use.Quote:

I have two friends who cannot tune the 360 into their Tv's. They think it's a scart lead problem
not happy bunnies!
I thought I had the same problem at first but turning it off and then turning it back on sorted it out.
