Post Weird stat readout on CS:S

Not sure if this is the right place to post but here goes. Since a re-install, whenever playing CS:S source I see in the bottom right hand corner my connection stats; ping, choke, fps etc which I can't find a way to remove. I tried a search in Steampowered forums but it was hard to figure out the right search terms. It's probably really simple, but how do I get rid?

cool, that seems to have done the trick. No idea how it happened in the first place - it certainly wasn't on purpose!
