Name of an old SNES game

There was a game I used to play as a kid on the SNES... but I forgot what it was called.

It had something to do with this kid.. who got trapped inside books I think. There was also something to do with time? (possibly)

They made a movie of it too.

Also I think there was a pink book which was a fairy which helped you out.

Sounds like The Pagemaster, film had Macauly Culkin in it and it had a pink fairy book as well as a few others that used to follow him about.

Lol! I never even played on a SNES much, but I read the pagemaster book and it sounds about right.

I have managed to find a site that still has an overview and screenies live, game was released April 14th 1994.

Looks like a typical platformer from that era in gaming on the Megadrive and SNES, similar to games like The Lion King, Alladin, Global Gladiators and way to many other platformers to mention !
