Fraps takes about 1-3 fps off the true amount apparently, so just take that into consideration

Have you tried google at all...

    http://www.google.com/search?q=Battl...e=off&c2coff=1

The first hit gives a command which i'll try later since I am also curious.

I'm still playing the demo, looking for a good multiplayer FPS. Second server I tried had an idiot teamkiller on so that wasnt exactly encouraging.

    thanks guys.

i've just played BF2 with fraps and im avaraging 45-40fps, and 35-30fps when it gets a bit intense, thats acceptable yeah?

im running 1600x1200@60hertz on my 2405fpw , x850xt stock speed.

thanks red im gonna try that out in the console now. stop playing the demo and get this now! you have to play "strike at kirkand", "fushee pass" and all the other levels on this game!. its awsome.

I'd say so. You don't need frame rates in the 100s, as some seem to think. In my opinion, anything above 20 is acceptable.

Anything below 30 and I start to really notice it to be honest. The human eye will just see fluid motion for anything over 25 fps, lower and it can start to pick out the slide show.
