XBOX 360 players vs PC players (Call of Duty 2)

I don't own a 360 nor Call of Duty 2, but seeing as both are released on both formats, which player would own who? I'm assuming there's no PC and XBOX online compatibility, but someone must know.

My opinion is that the PC player's keyboard and mouse will kill any console version of the FPS using just a pad, yet my mate seems to think the XBOX 360 pad is that good, that PC players wouldn't have a chance.

Sorry if this has been debated before, but surely PC players hands down?

I'm a console player but I would say the PC players would win.

Purely because their coordination skills would have to be better to use the keyboard, rather than a joy pad.

Xbox 360 is all USB... Maybe there will be a Keyboard / Mouse option available soon?

As far as i am aware, you can already just plug a normal USB keyboard/mouse into an xbox 360. But on the xbox360, don't they have an auto aim helper system like most console FPS's? Still, its not much fun in an armchair/sofa.

But a PC player would win, accept maybe a newbie PC player Vs a hardcore experienced console player.

Anyone remember the hack that allowed PC Quake 3 players to get onto Dreamcast Q3 servers? It was a bloodbath.

I'd have to say the PC player would win for the below reasons (among others):

It's a lot easier to aim with the mouse as you're use your whole arm to do the aiming, giving much finer control.
The number keys and the scroll wheel allow quicker changing of weapons
The keyboard gives a player the ability to jump, use a medpack, etc. while still maintaining control of their aiming and movement, while a joypad player has to take their thumb of one of the control surfaces.

    PC player hands down.

The control issue is the main reason - although there are some damn good player with joypads out there..still a joypad can't match the accuracy of a kb/mouse combo when it comes to FPS's.

Aside from the theres a technical reason, Someone with a high specced PC with all the goodies maxed out that can still play with no slowdown, whereas I expect the XB360 version will get a few judders now and again, or adjust its gfx output on the fly to keep the FPS going, sacrificing what could be essential details along the way

It's just no competetion, I remember playing dreamcast users at quake3, it was great fun. Even though I was ( and still am ) terrible at quake3 you could still go and just run around killing them all for the most part - the rail gun was the PC user's hidden talent, you need to be deadly accurate with it to get consistent kills.
