Beat the demo, quite enjoyed it. I have been looking forward to this game for ages.

The scale is a bit off, but i expected that. I will definatly be buying it. I really like the zoom out birds eye view, camera function.

You can't beat controlling AT-AT's, and Star Destroyers if you ask me.

yep just finished it on hard for the third time. I like it, space combat is really neat. Units feel balanced and strategy feels good.

Land combat took a bit of getting use to, the constant production of imperial troops really hurts with your limited invasion forces, would liked to have seen more of the campaign micro management of finances, BUT i think the biggest winning point of this game is the two player campaign mode!!!!!!!!.

soooo looking forward to that with friends.

Question is who gets to play as the empire and who as the alliance......

goes to get in his imperial star destroyer hehe..

Is this that game that was created by the former Westwood employees?

I would download the demo, but it is too big! I'll just wait for the reviews, I think.

its good, feels like its going to be a worthy game, modding looks easy as pie too, so expect lots of mod's added onto this. I'm well enjoying it and have played the (albiet easy) demo about 10 times... role on 16th of feb hehe.

im going to disagree with most opinion here and i say i found it lacking. Compared to the genius of Imperium Galactica 2 (which lets face it, this is just a clone of) its severely lacking in any depth at all. Space battles were the worst for me, i mean 2d space! I so wanted this game to be the perfect blend of IG2 and Homeworld with star wars added in but it just felt like the same old build and rush RTS.

Very disappointed, might buy it for a fiver to play after ive maybe watched one of the films because for me all it has going for it is that its Star Wars. So KOTOR remains the only decent SW game of recent times for me (kotor2 was *beep* as well)

Hmmm IG2, was a classic i grant you, but its combat wasn't as good as what exists in this game?. And the ground combat was appaling in IG2, (one of its biggest weaknesses). The one thing i'll say is that it felt superbly balanced, and shows up you can't go in with 3 star destroyers vs y-wing bombers, as you'll get owned.

I think with the full campaign mode i think this game will definitely appeal to strategy fans imo.

    Just my thoughts...
