    Battlefield 2 video

Beanfro and I have been talking about makinga BF2 vid for a couple of weeks now and basicly we would like to ask for voulenteers to help make it.

We have a synopsis and some script, I dont want to say more at this stage as it will no doubt change.

We need a few things though first.

Actors - Must have legit BF2, must have Mic and teamspeak.

A server to use - I could do this on my shuttle however my net connection wil make it problematic with lag if we have a couple of actors on at a time.

Ideas - We welcome any ideas, this will be a fun project I think and input will be appreciated.

So there you go, if your interested please either post here or for more detail and a real time chat Beanfro and I reside in #hexus.cs on qnet.

G4Z you should speak to XMS he may kindly set up a Tempoary BF2 server.
I am not sure if he would but you never know unless you ask, worth a try.

BEANFro's films are pretty wicked, so cant wait to see how this one turns out!
they can be found here: http://vault.emobash.com/?subdir=BEANFro&sortby=name
and on beanfro's site but i dont know where exactly

Heh, my site is not ready yet

On the issue of the video project advertised, if you are contemplating "enlisting" but you want to know more, you can download the synopsis and the script, both of which are unfinished and I'm still working with G4Z and the others on ideas etc.

    Synopsis
    http://www.aves21.dsl.pipex.com/synopsis.doc

    Script
    http://www.aves21.dsl.pipex.com/script.doc

Naturally as they are .doc files, one will need a program like MS Word or Openoffice.org to view the files, but I think WordPad can just about open them as well.

Also, we've noticed that none of us can do a convincing US or Arabic accent so if you think you can do a good US and / or Arabic we would also like to hear from you.

Feel free to post what you think about the BF2 video project as it is now as we'll take onboard any responses.

If you don't think I'm reputible enough why not nip along to Ramedge's site and view some of my other older videos I made on my own.

    http://vault.emobash.com/?subdir=BEANFro&sortby=name

I used the XviD codecs (Koepi) in my videos and if they play with no visual then download the codecs below...ENJOY!!

Wow this seems to be pretty well organised... looks like it will come out really nicely I'm up for lending my beautiful seductive voice* with acting on BF2 - I have a nice Seinhessier PC130 mic headset, and a 2mb conn so I shouldn't get lag problems, but my routers a ghey since I have trouble hosting games on this.

*voice may not be beautiful and seductive to everyone

certainly up for helping out in this video

i can do a fairly good arabic accent, but as you know it may sound a bit to young

by feb the 5th ill have my new comp up and running and will be able to play bf2 with it

i am extremely interested in the helicopters in the battlefield series (huey slicks in vietnam and black hawks in bf2) and i would love to fly the helicopters which are going to be at the start of the video (if the script remains unchanged)

but i would like to help out anywhere else, it sounds like itl be a really good video

also, just a quick bit of input to add. For music it may be wise to have a look at the black hawk down soundtrack by hans zimmer. I have it lying around and ill see if i can dig it out, convert it to mp3 and send g4z and beanfro a couple of the songs. The songs are mostly arabic sounding and i think there is even one called 'dawn raid', there are also some which are the same sort of emotional sound as the gladiator soundtrack (probably because hans zimmer did gladiator soundtrack as well) which could be useful for the parts of the video which may involve US troops getting blown up, death and destruction shots etc

edit: just found the soundtrack...the files are all converted to mp3, definitely worth a look in (assuming the film will have music)

Pete, the thing is we might need permission to use that.

Could be worth looking into though cheers.

I was thinking we could wait for the euro forces addon to come out, then we could just use thr british army instead of the US.

We could do some seriously sterotyped Geordie or Scouse or Cockney.

    Could help adda little humour.

if you really want a (real) scouse accent i could lend a hand. Legit BF2/teamspeak/mic.

and if my accent isnt scouse enough (i seriously doubt it wont be) i can easily fix that.
