Turrican II (USA AMIGA) playable on EURO/PAL AMIGA

    Hello,
I'm thinking about buying the origial Turrican II (USA version)(Amiga) / boxed. But will this USA region disk version work on a EURO PAL Amiga?
I have a basic EURO PAL A1200 & Commodere 1084S monitor and a multi region EURO PAL/NTSC/SECAM TV

    Thanks in advance.
    Alex.

Dont think there is any regionalisation on the Amigas, I will check with my mate he is fluent in all things Amiga, he runs an A4000. Just so you are aware some games wont run on the A1200.

AFAIK - you should be ok.. I think Denise (the video chip iir) would handle it fine... however there may be timing differences between UK and US games due to the timing differences.

(This is just from my slightly fading memory...)

I thnk that any amiga with ECS or higher chipset (specifically I think it's the 1 meg or greater Agnus that's required) is able to switch between NTSC/PAL at will.
So my PAL A1200 AGA chipset Amiga should be fine I think...

just make sure you can run your TV at 60hz mode, that's the only problem I can think of

Hold down both mouse buttons when you power up to get into the startup menu and check.
