HEXUS.gaming BF2 server now set up

I worked with ajbrun for a few hours tonight and i am proud to say the lovely new HEXUS.gaming in association with e-FRAG.co.uk BF2 server is set up and ready for you guys to connect to.

Please check it out (see the IP in my sig) and add it to your favourites as we now need to get it filling with players so we can all have a nice server to play on whenever we are on BF2

its definitely working, me, G4Z and luke313 were just having some dog fights

luke313 had the same prob you had i think and he says he just does not use the port number through auto loader, just the ip

I assume it comes up in the master server list as well because there was a random about tonight as well.

GFiSH, if you play often enough i will add you to the reserved slots list so that if the server is ful you can just connect and some poor random guy will get kicked out to make room

yeh, i just read G4Z's post which i had missed previously

i think he misunderstood or something. It is not ranked.

But

it has global unlocks, so whatever you have unlocked in the game you can play with on the server

Just so you know - reserved slots are permanently taken up, so unless you are on there all the time it's a wasted space

if you want a game of bf2 come to the #hexus.bf2 channel on QuakeNet on irc and ask for one

we have lots of people who usually just idle in irc but who would be up for a game if you ask them
