Well, they have turned air vehicles into a farce, you may as well just not use them. Haven't tried much ground combat, but the noob tube is stil almost the same, albeit with the added ability to bounce it round corners

    Totally ruined.

I was on for an hour or so last night, and I quite enjoyed it. I was only on foot (Kark mainly) new sniper rifle is lovely, and support is alot more affective.

I'm enjoying it. Air Power is significantly reduced which imho was only a good thing. A pilot could totally dominate a map before with impunity. The only thing they had to worry about was another pilot.

Choppers are better now too, in real life aren't on the battlefield getting up close and personal, they hide behind cover and use ranged weapons to pick off targets. They're like vehicle 'snipers', not full out assault mofos. I can only see this as a good thing, but it was a backward step reducing the range of the TV guided jobbie.

No more dolphin diving or hopping nutters - proper infantry battles now, though the new support weapons are to be now feared from what I can see. Very accurate, high damage - the support man needs taking out first if given a choice or targets...

I haven't played with the sniping rifles yet, only had a quick blast last night so can't comment, but I've been on the recieving end a bit more so that's obviously been made more accurate which again I think is a good thing. Just gotta hope that all the sniping dies down a bit since otherwise no-one will bother capping a flag lol

That's cos people haven't adjusted their tactics yet. They're trying the same old tricks which now won't work. Instead of complaining people need to use their brains a bit and perhaps use a blackhawk to climb out of visual range then let people HALO in?

Havent tried it yet, but the changes sound good. Although I pilot choppers a lot the fighters/bombers were so unbalaced. Would have been ok if the SA missiles hadnt been so crap, the only thing they seemed to hit was your own pilots (which got me banned from a couple of servers )

i'm wondering if SF expansion is worth it?
do you guys know if there's any way to find out what servers are running in asia/pac? i'm moving back to NZ at the end of the month, and don't want to be stranded with no games to play

Yor ping to euro/us serversshould probably still be ok. SF is a bit poor tbh, although if you can find it cheap its worth it for the new guns and bonus unlocks you get.

My favourite sniper rifle is now the pkm. Its now like the m95 but without a scope and the added bonus of 100 round clips and your own ammo supply.

If it was that accurate from day one I'd have k/d ratio of about 10/1

Just downloading it now, but like you all say, it's downloading so slow. I'm going out now but hopefully it'll be ready to install by the time I get home late afternoon/early evening.
