    Tomb Raider Legend

Was just looking at game.net ... and found:
    http://shop.game.net/ViewProduct.asp...350&mid=326429

Cool!, haven't played any of the Tome Raider games in ages, anyone think this will be any good? Loved the previous games when I was younger, hope my gameplay tastes haven't changed

Installed and played all of them in preparation *drool*

Well almost all, still got angel of darkness to play and for some reason keep putting it off

So long as the polygon count in her *ahem* upper body is at an all time high, I'll be happy.

The tomb raider games were great in their day but the formula is so old and dated and the last few games so tired. The series is just riding on the Lara Croft name, I dont hold much hope of this game being any good.

I've never understood it when people have said this (no offence meant btw).

I loved the first game, when it was finished I wanted more. An improved interface, better graphics etc of TR2 were nice, but I would have been happy with the second story in the original engine to be honest.

I've now played them all to a point where my recent run through all games I collected all secrets without referring to a guide and played every official addon, bar Unfinished Business (Glidos wouldn't run it properly for some reason).

I would be happy with new content, but would hope that new engine is better than AOD's.

I've heard lots of people say similar things unfortunately

Maybe the new game will be a turn around!

and thats why you still own it....but once its installed and you've got angry with it for being so pooh, you'll ebay it like everyone else.

    Sadly Angel was utter dross.

Tomb Raider 1 2 and 3 for the win

If you want a seriously great game, the game that Lara SHOULD have been, look no further than Prince of Persia, Sands of Time.

Intuitive, exciting, do-able but hard to master....looks great moves great, sounds great...IS great.

True on both points although I did like the fact that 4 got back to the actual raiding of tombs

Digressing slightly, Really enjoyed Sands of Time but it was more of a bash the buttons during fights, and follow the corridors when not type of affair. Never got further than 10 minutes into the Warrior Within sadly.
