nope sales will start to improve when there is a card out tehre that can actualy play the game decently the way its MEANT to be played
UT3 isn't selling well at the moment either.

Agree, no one can really enjoy the game unless they have a reasonably powerful computer.
I can sort of understand why UT3 is not selling anymore- I found the game boring after a couple of weeks, yet I still find UT 2004 more fun after all these years . Maybe UT3 needs some more time to develop (more maps, mods, etc)
UT2004 is great, We can still play it in my uni games lab on OLD p4's with aging Quadro graphics cards, so it's doing well still (only 19" regular screens too so it's all 'balanced' as far as hardware goes lol)
UT3....it's ok but looks too dark and moody IMO
Crysis is fun on high with my new setup...but it was a killer on my X1950XT
Surely this is an artefact of November being such a busy month for releases. In November I bought COD4, GOW, UT3, Crysis, Hellgate and Mass Effect.

I don't believe it
The Witcher is a pretty hardcore title that's marketed to a much smaller demographic than FPS gamers, but it's done really well - retailers have apparently ordered over a million copies worldwide already.
The new 169.21 nvidia drivers seem to have improved Crysis quite a bit ...not a huge amount but a move in the right direction
I think once graphics cards are able to play this game with decent framerates at the best settings this game will sell more.
A lot of people after playing the demo liked the game but were reluctant to shell out because of the performance on their rigs.
Crysis brings my 8800GT OC2 / Q6600 combo to its knees. All high, no AA, 1680 x 1050, at these settings it runs quite well, any higher and I really feel it.

Way I see it is that granted Crysis looks gorgeous even on medium settings in 800x600 res. Thing is though the game itself I found really poor, when I finished it thought thats it, nothing to draw me back in and play again. Hardly kept my interest at all. Zero G and the frozen areas were quite good must admit but nothing overly ground breaking in the terms of play etc.
In terms of gameplay, visuals and the story itself Bioshock I found to be a far superior title on all levels.
That's interesting to me as I found these levels to be the worst - at this point the game takes on a more on-rails shooter. I've replayed the game a couple of times now, I still enjoy the sandbox aspect of engaging the KPA, trying new paths to the objectives, engaging the bad guys in new ways etc but as soon as the zero G bit shows I quit.
I agree that without the visuals there isn't anything really that new here though - but the visuals sure are pretty
