I get this
'CPU does not support the intel streaming SIMD extensions (SSE)'
Does an athlon XP not support SSE then? Can I get an emulator for it or do I need a new CPU?![]()

SSE is only supported in hardware so an emulator won't work
Q4 doesnt even start without it
I looked in the bios and due to my crappy mobo, it doesnt seem theres an option to turn it on or off, CPUID shows 3D now, and something else, but not SSE
So i've no idea how to get it on, why would my mobo autodisable it and not give you an option to turn it on? One thing I noticed, when it turns on it says Athlon XP1800, however in the bios for some strange reason it says a 133fsb duron??

Flash BIOS the board..
I'm sure there's still updates for it..
Me want Ultrabook
It needs a flash but I've no idea what board it ishave a look later, is pit possible to flash from a cdr/memory stick as my floppy is dead?
Before I do it, I doubt theres a software way of turning it on?

if its the old famous K7S5A from ECS, which was fitted in alot of AXP systems around that age. The earlier BIOS'es dont support SSE but i know for sure the tweaked honeyX one does (as i used to use it) and i would also presume the latest official ones support it too.
