I let my girlfriend start the game last night and she played for 5 hours , and still only completed 1 quest. She spends most of the time in the menu system looking at spells...grrrrr

Its a good game (so far) but you do need a lot of time to play it or at least i do. It seems to take quite a long time to do anything but, thats not to say its not enjoyable. For example i was on my way to pick up an object but i saw an oblivion gate, which of course i had to close and that took me a good long while. If you can make the time or get your girlfriend interested i would recommend it

I play it on Xbox 360, but I have played PC version. Have to admit the horse's don't seem to control too well on the 360 and they glitch on top of walls, there's also slightly more slowdown but nothing too heavy.

Apart from that I can't really see any difference, yet.

I suppose it would probably work out cheaper to upgrade my pc rather than buy a 360 just for this one game!

how? to play this on high settings you will be spending nearly the same amount if not more for a decent graphics card alone...

    It is an awesome game.

GF loves it too - don't ask how long she spent playing with the character generator and all the face stuff!

Runs really well on my system (on left) - I've got the choice of bloom+AA and nearly full settings, or HDR and not quite so full settings, for the same smooth play. But it's still gorgeous - slightly prefer the HDR at the moment as it seems to activate a couple of other visual nicecities as well.

Plenty of things to fiddle in the ini file of the PC version to get even more adjustment and things outside of the menus.

Seen the XBOX 360 version round a friends and I have to say I widely prefer it on the PC. Just more smooth and easier to play. And the annoying LONGER than PC loading thing is very stupid, something to do with loading caches or something. If you guys on the 360 are having trouble with lame loading speeds hold down A when you load, it should clear the cache and speed up the load.

Other than that, so far so good! Haven't been playing as much as I'd like too, just closed my first gate but for some bizzare reason I'm still only Level 1?!?! How the hell do i gain a level? I'm a Spellsword under the starsign Fighter and I use only Blade styled weapons and Destruction typed magik. Yet no progression from level one
