I suggest shrinking to 640x480 or so to keep the forums manageable.

This one was originally 1024 and roughly medium settings for playable rates on my 6800gt:

Awww, where's the minimap gone? Highly useful in Morrowind for finding... doors.

But is it the same sort of thing i.e. something along the lines of the minimap that used to be in the bottom right hand corner?

    e.g. http://www.ixbt.com/video/itogi-vide...ind-bug2-2.jpg

Personally, I hate mini maps. Try playing World of Warcraft without it for an hour- you suddenly feel less like a moving dot on the landscape and more like you're actually there. Leaving them out is a jump forward. It's that 'one click' travel system that puts me off; you don't HAVE to use it, but I know I would anyway..

Keep the screen shots coming, this game looks the sex

Being into Oblivion itself yet? If so, any nice piccies? Of course, some parts of Oblivion (the place) are actually supposed to be quite pleasant. Just not the bits you visit in the game.

Going into Oblivion is like going back into time and warping into Quake. It's much too brown and red with lots of smoke. Only lasted about 10 minutes which I liked. V.Cack place, I hope the second gate is much more fun.

I must be missing something. Im stuck at the beginning in sewer type place with a well with a bucket at the bottom hanging from a rope and what looks like a tree to climb up only i cant get up it.

3 years in the making im getting bored of it in 20 minutes.

Are you not receiving the text at the top of the screen? It says, pick up the bow and arrow and then fire some shots at the bucket to practice bow skills.
