you should be fine, i'm guessing that if you're level 20, you're blade, or destruction magic is going to be prety high, but then it depends on what type of character you have, i have starsign of atronach in game so i absorb magic, which is really handy. Also I have umbra's armour and sword so i'm well protected on that front too you'll only know how hard it will be if you give it a go

Well I have to shamelessly admit that I find the game much more fun with the difficulty turned down about 3% from the standard. The level scaling isn't great in this game but I'm grateful they allowed the opportunity for us roleplayers to tweak it ourselves!

A small change to the difficulty slider makes quite a lot of difference.

maybe i'm missing something, but i haven't found any enemies that i can't handle with a combination of destruction spells and suing my sword. Admittedly i haen't come across a daedroth yet, but i always keep a good supply of restore health and magicka on me. Also i absorb magicka really well, which helps. I'm only level 15 but it takes a lot to kill me, and thats using default difficulty.

Some people are reporting bugs that seem to have the difficulty default to the wrong setting, and when the slider is just moved around then back to the middle it clears up. Yeah, I'll hide behind that one

But seriously, it's probably not a problem for most people. Some of us are levelling up mainly through non-combat skills though.

I did Kvatch pretty early on and it was real hard as I was level one!

Got past it though - lots of armoury practice so my Battlemage is getting pretty nifty with a sword and bow

Ok i am still just lvl 3 but since I noticed something - I am now bunnyhopping to most places to raise my acrobat skill (one of my major) and sneak around while bunny hopping to raise my sneak at the same time (go almost as fast).

I was trying to train my mysticism by firing turn undead all the time. Did it at a sheep and it started following me - freaky. Soon I had a little sheep army after me. Then a guard came and spoiled it all! Apparently you are not supposed to lead sheep to the dark side

I think one day I will do a self imposed quest of amassing a huge sheep army! Wonder if they would follow you into gates lol.

You know the saying that an army of sheep lead by a lion (me) is better than an army of lions lead by a sheep. I am gonna have to test that.
