    Angry Oblivion doesnt work - control problem - help !!!

    ewll, bought this game 2day but am still right at the beginning as i have a problem

    i cant seem to move properly,
    my charactor seems 2 just slowly hover about and even when i toggle run on he runs in slow motion even though the other characters on screen move fine and when i hold down attack he darts forward quickly enough so it isnt the game itself lagging

    also its saying hdr isnt supported i have an x800 card i thought hdr was ok with this card??

    updated latest cat's aswell hmm...

    i really want to play this game and am rather annoyed right now grrrr

    I dont think x800 supports HDR, isnt the standard implementation based upon SM3.0?

    As for the weird slo-mo problem - seems that a re-install may be in order;

    I think that valve did their own implementation of HDR for the source engine - not using 'standard' SM3.0 (caveat - SM 2.0x does enable HDR but uses a different interface, I dont think that this is used often by devs though);

    I think that this is why you are not able to use HDR on that card - try turning on bloom though, looks pretty nice and you can use AA too!
