    oblivion console commands

    Hi all

Does anyone know how to drop a quest item in oblivion, or if there is a console command to drop something. The problem is that i have a ring which is NOT equipped but it was at some point and its attributes are still effecting me, but i cannot re-equip this item or drop it. Its not really a big problem because the ring doesn't way anything, but its annoying me that it isn't equipped but i still have its attributes, and i'm a bit anal about things like that.

    Thanks

    Andy

check the wiki (cs.elderscrolls.com) and look for scripting->functions. I think the command is something like player.removeitem [itemID] [number of items].

btw. what is the quest? if you finish it, you might be able to dump it.
