I just love the way the audience reacts when Will zooms out a little bit more. The idea of hundreds of thousands of potential sandbox worlds sounds fun, especially the editor, it would be interesting to model a human as your organism and see how the species fair against many other 'alien' races.

This is the only innovative game that I can see on the horizon, although we'll have to wait and see how it turns out. Of course, judging by that video, it is pretty well developed already.

Well, Will Wright certainly knows his AI, so it should be good.

And remember, it's all "procedurally generated"!

I think I heard that phrase more times in that video than the rest of my life put together. Having said that, that fact that it is all procedurally generated is extremely impressive - especially considering the huge variety of creatures you could make.

Yeh lol, EVERYTHING was in some way 'procedurally generated', sounds better in an American accent somehow. But i'm impressed by the 5000:1 compression that they are claiming. If it's all scripted, then there's no need for hundreds of complex models, which i assume is why they can fit such a massive scope game onto one DVD. It also should mean that the addition of downloadable creatures will make for interesting scoreboards. Now that would be a great thing, to be the guy who invented the best evolved organism..ah..playing god..

I think this game is going to be as big as the sims and sim city, Will Wright cant stop pulling these games out of his head!

Really looking forward to it, its going to be cool creating your own species, eco system, planet, empire etc or destroying it all hehe

I'm not particularly looking forward to this myself, cool idea but doesn't appeal to me much as fun. Plus its all going to be EA-Games-ified.
